Berkeley: -5 yrs, -10 yrs! +5 yrs?
Berkeley: 10 years after those mixed days! 5 years after some other mixed days. Apparently this place has been the point of revival for me in the past decade. Ironically visiting the same lab and the same people who're very kind to me.
Naturally, I've grown and got stable on many fronts of life and some of insecurities (which are mostly personality related) continue to hold. All together, it's been either progress or pretty much the same on major aspects. Yet, on my 36 years, there are major things to sort out: stable career, marriage and family, health, etc.
Where do I want to be 5 years later (maybe again in a visit to Berkeley)? There are many logistic to take care. Career, marriage and a stable family life. But the most important is to feel in love: not only with a woman and family, but also with a cause and effort. Reaching a productive and impactful sense that I still haven't reached in total.
And I'm sure 5 years later: days will be again mixed!
