a moment in desert

It's Eid in the Moslem world including this desert town of mine.  It's very quiet.  Like the new year eve of 2008, as I was walking alone in Squirrel hill, listening to Leonard Cohen's "Waiting for the miracle".... It's life and I do my best to make a nice one out of it.
